Students from Junior Educators’ Organization (JEO)
hold their annual Sportsfest to show their talents and love for sports together
with their respective families last July 29, 2012 at STC with a theme “ One
with the Family, Reviving the Past through Sports and Dances.
In preparation
as future teachers, JEO had their annual sportsfestas part of their curriculum.
For a change they started their day with a meaningful mass celebrated by Msgr.
CayetanoGelbolingo, PA and this time, their families joined the celebration.
Followed by an Exhibition Game by JEO All Stars vs. DPE. This happened for the
first time that the second coursers join the event.
Each Year Level presented their dances according
to different generation: first years-1980, second years-1970, third years-
1970’s, fourth years-1980 as the highlights of the event, which was dominated
by the Second Year students. JEO also conducted a mural painting with a theme “Pagkainnggulayugaliin,
araw-arawitongihain” in preparation for the Nutrition Month which will be this
August. The freshmen bested the other year level in their painting about the
child who eats fruits and vegetables everyday. The afternoon
activity was spent through different sports like soccerbaseball, volleyball, softball,
table tennis, badminton chess and scrabble. The event was graced by the JEO
Program Head Ms. Judith Dabon.
